Free accommodation for 60 athletes

The Municipality of Maldonado offers 60 free places (50 for male, 10 for female) for the Marathon participants to accommodate, for the nights of Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 September, at the Maldonado Campus.  These places should be booked by mail and they will be assigned according to the date they were requested : alojamientocampus@maratondepuntadeleste.com.uy specifying name, last name, address and a contact telephone number (mandatory) Click here for more information

Hotels

Punta del Este and its surroundings have a 15000 bed accommodation capacity.  7000 are distributed in 125 hotels which are part of the Punta del Este Hotel and Restaurant Center.  In the following list you will find most of them and you will be able to locate them in the map of the Hotel Center website: (http://www.puntadelestehoteles.com). 
Please bear in mind that the Start and the Finish areas are in downtown Maldonado, 6 Ks from downtown Punta del Este.  The Public transport system between the two cities is very good and we will probably have buses to move the athletes between Maldonado and Punta del Este the day of the race.
We are negotiating prices for the athletes in some of the hotels and the information will be published here in due time.
